Many people were saddened to learn about the unfortunate death of performer Suhani Bhatnagar. The performer was just 19 years old. In the highly regarded 2016 theatrical picture Dangal, she portrayed Aamir Khan’s younger daughter. Suhani had mentioned in a throwback interview from that era that her family and friends were complimenting her on the movie role.

In an old interview that Viral Bollywood put up on their YouTube channel, Suhani and Zaira Wasim—who portrayed Aamir Khan’s older daughter in the movie—were questioned about whether or not they had a lot of positive feedback from the public. “I am receiving a lot of compliments,” Suhani remarked. After all, family members are the ones that really matter most to me. Everyone is eagerly awaiting the movie. Let’s hope for the best and make sure everyone sees it—from family members to relatives, everyone is really enjoying it.
Suhani also mentioned how difficult it is for her to select her favorite memory from the time spent filming Dangal. “From the audition to the wrap up!” she continued. Dangal’s entire journey is a significant accomplishment and memory in and of itself. We had a great time.

Suhani played a younger version of Babita Kumari Phogat in Dangal, while Zaira Wasim played her sister Geeta Phogat. The public adored both Zaira and Suhani’s performances, and when Geeta and Babita grew up, they were portrayed in the movie by Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra.
Suhani Bhatnagar’s death was confirmed by a tweet from Aamir Khan’s production company saying, “We are deeply saddened to hear about our Suhani passing away.We send our deepest sympathies to her mother Poojaji and the whole family. Suhani is such a gifted young woman and a great team player that Dangal wouldn’t have been the same without her. You will always be a star in our hearts, Suhani. I hope you find comfort while you slumber.” However, Bhatnagar’s cause of death is still a mystery.
